What happens after the seven days?
We ask you whether you would like to continue, and take the first month if you do — the plans and their prices are above. If you would rather not, your access simply stops: there is nothing to cancel and no card to remove, because we never took one. Nothing is deleted either way.
How do I pay, and can I stop?
Monthly, in US dollars, and for now it is a conversation rather than a checkout — we take the first month when the trial ends and each one after that as it comes. There is no card on file and no subscription running in the background, so stopping is simply not paying for the next month. Online payment is coming shortly.
What age is this for?
Any age. We teach children, teenagers and adults, including complete beginners and people returning after years away. You can enrol yourself, or enrol your child and follow their progress from your own dashboard. Tell us where you are starting from and we will place you honestly.
How often are the classes, and how long?
Three or five days a week, at the same time on each of your class’s days. A small group session runs two hours; a one-to-one runs thirty minutes, which is the difference between a class you sit in with others and a lesson where every minute is yours. Start the trial and you will pick from the times we have open; if none of them fit, tell us and we will look at what else we can run.
Is it a group, or one-to-one?
Both, and they are priced separately above. Small groups are the two-hour sessions and are the cheaper way in; one-to-one is thirty minutes with a teacher whose whole attention is on you. Start the trial either way and tell us which you want — moving between them is a conversation, not a new account.
When is the recording made?
Before each class, not between them — and never from a cold start. Your teacher recites the new passage with you in the lesson first, so you have heard exactly how it should sound before you attempt it. You then read it at home in your own time, your teacher listens to it before the next class, and that class is spent correcting it. The recording is what the class is about.
What do we need?
A phone, tablet or laptop with a microphone, and a quiet corner. Nothing to install — classes run in Google Meet and the recording happens in the browser.
What happens to the recordings?
They are private to you and your teacher — and, for a child, to their parent — stored securely, and deleted automatically after 90 days. See our privacy policy.
