Who the account holder is

The parent or guardian is the account holder. Children do not have their own logins — a child uses the parent's account.

This service is for children, so be clear about what that means: we hold your child's name and date of birth, audio recordings of their voice, and your phone number and email address. The parent or guardian consents to all of it on the child's behalf, and can withdraw that consent at any time by messaging us on the WhatsApp number you signed up with — we will delete the family's data and close the account. There is no charge and you do not have to give a reason.

What we collect

• When you start a free trial:your name, your child's name, your email address and your phone number, and which class time you chose. The email address is how you sign in — there is no password. We use the phone number once, to ask how the trial went.
• Once lessons start:your child's name and date of birth, lesson times and attendance, teacher reports on progress.
• Practice submissions: audio recordings of your child reciting, and any screenshots they upload.
• Abuse prevention:when the signup form is submitted we store a one-way salted hash of the sender's IP address — never the address itself — so the form cannot be flooded. These hashes are deleted within 24 hours.

How long we keep it

Your child's practice recordings and any screenshots are deleted automatically 90 days after they are sent, whether or not the teacher has listened to them. A teacher's spoken replies are deleted after 180 days. Written feedback, lesson reports and attendance are kept for as long as the account is active. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.

If your free trial ends and you decide not to carry on, your access stops but nothing is deleted straight away — so that you can change your mind and pick up where your child left off. Message us and we will delete it all.

Who can see it

Your child's recordings, reports and feedback are visible only to your family and to your child's assigned teacher. No other family can see them, and no other teacher can see them. Recordings are never stored in a publicly reachable location — every playback link is generated on demand and expires shortly after.

Services we rely on

We use Supabase to store data, Google Meet for live lessons, Resend to send email, and Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots off the signup form. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
